Recover-Care is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer medications and support routine nursing care for residents. You will work under supervision and follow facility policies to ensure safe, accurate med administration and patient well-being.

The role emphasizes compassion, timely documentation, and collaboration with nurses and leadership to maintain high standards of resident care. Includes opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CMA certification.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Demonstrates patience, empathy and a friendly demeanor with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering medications to residents on your assigned unit.
• Prepare residents for therapy, appointments, or activities, including transport when needed.
• Ensure medications are given to the correct patient, at the correct time, dosage, and route.
• Assist residents with hygiene, bathing, and encourage independence.
• Follow infection control policies and isolation procedures as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of shifts and medication administration.
• Present a professional image through attire and conduct.
• Adhere to company standards for addressing and resolving resident concerns.
• Uphold residents' rights and dignity in all interactions.
