Recover-Care Healthcare is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide routine nursing care and accurate medication administration for residents. You will work under supervision from nursing leadership to ensure safety, dignity, and exemplary care.

Responsibilities include medication administration, resident preparation for appointments, hygiene assistance, and thorough documentation. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CMA certification.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Demonstrates compassion, patience and a positive attitude toward residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering medications to residents on your unit.
• Prepare residents for therapy, activities, physician visits, or religious services, and transport as needed.
• Accurately prepare and administer medications to the correct resident, dose and route.
• Assist residents with hygiene and encourage self-care.
• Follow infection control procedures and isolation protocols as required.
• Maintain thorough shift documentation related to CMA duties.
• Present a professional image via attire, conduct, and communication.
