Job summary

Recover-Care is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide routine nursing care and administer medications under supervision. Earn up to $22 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include preparing residents for therapy, ensuring accuracy in medication administration, maintaining documentation, and upholding resident rights and dignity. English fluency and compassion are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CMA certification.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Compassion, patience, and a cheerful demeanor with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of medications to residents on your assigned unit.
• Prepare residents for therapy, activities, physician visits, religious services, and other appointments, including transporting residents to and from these activities.
• Accurately preparing and administering medications, ensuring they are given to the right patient, at the right time, in the correct dosage, and via the proper route.
• Assist residents with proper hygiene, including bathing, and encouraging self-help measures and activities.
• Follow infection control procedures as stipulated by our facility's policy, particularly when isolation techniques are necessary.
• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation related to the role of a CMA during every shift.
• Presenting a professional image to residents and their families through attire, behavior, and communication.
• Adhering to our company's high standards for addressing and resolving consumer concerns.
• Upholding the rights of all residents to ensure their well-being and dignity.
