Job summary

Recover-Care is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide routine nursing care and accurate medication administration under supervision. You will follow policies and ensure timely, safe care for residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CMA certification.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Demonstrates compassion, patience, and a cheerful disposition toward residents.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the administration of medications to residents on your assigned unit.
• Preparing residents for therapy, activities, physician visits, religious services, and other appointments, including transporting residents to and from these activities.
• Accurately preparing and administering medications, ensuring they are given to the right patient, at the right time, in the correct dosage, and via the proper route.
• Assisting residents with proper hygiene, including bathing, and encouraging self-help measures and activities.
• Following infection control procedures as stipulated by our facility's policy, particularly when isolation techniques are necessary.
• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation related to the role of a CMA during every shift.
• Presenting a professional image to our residents and their families through your attire, behavior, and communication.
• Adhering to our company's high standards for addressing and resolving consumer concerns.
• Upholding the rights of all residents to ensure their well-being and dignity.
