Job summary

The Village of Ackley is seeking a CNA/CMA in Iowa to provide compassionate resident care on weekend daytime shifts (6am-2pm or 6am-6pm on Saturdays and Sundays). A supportive team and a focus on individualized care help you make a difference every day.

Qualifications

Must possess a current active license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Iowa.
Must possess a current active certification to practice as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in Iowa.
A compassionate, kind, and respectful nature with a true servant’s heart.
Experience in nursing care is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person!

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to residents, under the guidance of the nurse and alongside your supportive team.
Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene.
Promptly respond to resident requests and provide care according to their unique care plans.
Maintain accurate charts and effective communication with your team to ensure the best care outcomes.
Uphold residents' rights and dignity at all times.
