Job summary

The Village of Ackley, managed by Western Home Communities, is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide compassionate care to our residents in Ackley, IA. You will work under the guidance of the nurse and collaborate with a supportive team to deliver personalized daily care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities: bathing, dressing, mobility, personal hygiene.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and follow care plans.
• Maintain accurate charts and communicate with the team.

Your Role as a CNA:

• Provide compassionate care to residents under the guidance of the nurse and alongside your supportive team
• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene
• Promptly respond to resident requests and provide care according to their unique care plans
• Maintain accurate charts and effective communication with your team to ensure the best care outcomes
• Uphold residents’ rights and dignity at all times

What You’ll Need:

• A current, active CNA license in Iowa

• Experience in nursing care is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person!
