Job summary

The Village of Ackley, managed by Western Home Communities, seeks a dedicated CNA/CMA to deliver compassionate, resident‑centered care in Ackley, IA. You’ll work on a weekend 1st shift with shift differentials and a full benefits package while upholding dignity and rights of residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting care, and coordinating with the nursing team to ensure tailored care plans. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current active license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Iowa.
• Must possess a current active certification to practice as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in Iowa.
• A compassionate, kind and respectful nature with a servant’s heart.
• Experience in nursing care is a plus; willingness to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents under nurse guidance and with a supportive team.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, mobility and personal hygiene.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and follow individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate charts and communicate effectively with the team for quality outcomes.
• Uphold residents' rights and dignity at all times.

Your Role as a CNA/CMA:

• Provide compassionate care to residents, under the guidance of the nurse and alongside your supportive team
