Job summary

HERO House NW in Seattle seeks a Program Director to lead HERO House Seattle, align with Clubhouse International Standards, and oversee daily clubhouse operations.

You will supervise staff, develop programs, build partnerships, and ensure compliance with contracts and regulations while fostering recovery-oriented, member-centered service.

This role requires strong leadership, experience with behavioral health services, and a commitment to meaningful member participation and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, sociology, social work, human services, or related field.
• Minimum of four years working with individuals living with serious mental illness or psychiatric disabilities.
• Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
• Valid Washington State driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements.
• Ability to complete required background checks.
• Basic computer proficiency including Word and standard workplace tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Clubhouse operations in line with Clubhouse International Standards.
• Hire, onboard, train, supervise, evaluate, and develop staff.
• Support member employment, education, housing, and other services.
• Foster meaningful member participation and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with funding contracts and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare regular reports for CEO and CPO.
• Manage budgets and resources responsibly.
