Job summary

TURN in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Unit Partner to engage members in all aspects of the unit and to coordinate unit projects and activities.

You will support planning, outreach, and community living skills, while maintaining a safe, clean environment and assisting with daily tasks needed for successful housing and group living.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance per contract requirements.
  • Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Engages and involves members in all aspects of the unit, including activity and work planning and encourages leadership roles.
  • Provides a wide range of work opportunities to unit members and works side by side with members as colleagues.
  • Maintains an organized work unit space and ensures unit meetings occur regularly.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly environment using universal precautions and inventory of supplies.
  • Assists members with community living issues (housing, life skills, banking, medication management).
  • Demonstrates adherence to the Clubhouse philosophy/model in daily conduct.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client’s care.
  • Participate in scheduled program meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Assist with planning and facilitating social activities and community outings.
  • Conduct outreach to absent/disengaged members to promote participation.
  • Assist with Transitional Employment (TE) placements by coordinating coverage and communicating with employers.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Maintains an organized work unit space and ensures that unit meetings happen on a regular basis.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment using universal precautions. Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
  • Assists members with all community living issues, such as negotiating with roommates, neighbors, landlords, housing authorities, legal system, life skills, banking and/or medication management.
  • Demonstrates an adherence to the Clubhouse philosophy/model in their daily conduct.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client’s care.
  • Participate in scheduled program meetings.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.
  • Assists with planning and facilitating social activities, holiday events, and community outings.
  • Conducts outreach to members who are absent or disengaged to promote ongoing participation and connection.
  • Helps maintain Transitional Employment (TE) placements by coordinating coverage, communicating with employers, and supporting members in learning job tasks.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance per contract requirements.
  • Cultural Competency understanding required.
  • Bilingual preferred.
