Job summary

The Ned & Ned’s Club in Washington, DC is seeking a Club Reception Manager to lead a team and deliver exceptional hospitality at the Club’s reception. You will welcome members and guests, set the standard for service, and coordinate daily operations to ensure a seamless experience.

You will train and motivate reception staff, manage scheduling, payroll and benefits, and work with other departments to maintain high service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team in a hospitality environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hotel or reception experience delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Be the “face” and guardian of outstanding hospitality at Ned’s Club, setting the tone for guest service.
• Train and motivate a team of Club receptionists to guide day-to-day member experiences.
• Manage the Club reception team and support scheduling, payroll and benefits.
• Uphold accountability with clear performance expectations and real-time coaching.
• Collaborate with departments to provide a seamless member and guest experience.
• Support VIP arrivals and relay member information to departments as needed.
• Develop relationships with members and gather insights into preferences.
• Elevate arrival and departure experiences and enforce club rules thoughtfully.
• Document member feedback and escalate issues as necessary.
• Monitor arrival/departure patterns to anticipate seasonal scheduling changes.
