Job summary

The Ned’s Club Washington, DC seeks a Club Receptionist to lead warm, polished arrivals and departures, ensuring seamless check-ins and thoughtful farewells for members and guests. You will collaborate with Membership, Security, and F&B teams to deliver a personalized club experience.

Ideal candidates will be natural hosts with exceptional communication, organizational skills, and discretion, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality reception preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day arrival and departure experience with warm Ned’s welcome and seamless check-ins/outs.
• Resolve guest concerns with grace and deliver memorable experiences.
• Collaborate with Membership, Security, and F&B teams to ensure a personalized club journey.
• Communicate VIP arrivals and member information to relevant teams.
• Build rapport with members by learning preferences and personalizing experiences.
• Enforce club policies with discretion and professionalism.
• Assist with coat checks and secure storage of belongings.
• Answer calls promptly and provide accurate information.
• Respond to member queries with timely, detailed responses.
• Support additional duties as assigned by Club Reception Manager or Head of Membership.
• Activate and issue membership cards; prepare induction bags for new members.
• Handle restaurant reservations when needed.
• Monitor Founder’s mobile during absence of Concierge team.
• Create and manage Founder and VIP passes; maintain Lost & Found and Bag Check trackers.
