Job summary

Life Time seeks a Facility Operations Manager to lead the Operations department of the Life Time club in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ. You will oversee budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and projects, while providing ongoing training for all Ops team members.

You will recruit for the Ops department, manage payroll, and coach up to 40 staff. CPR/AED and CPO certifications are required within specified timeframes. The role offers a salaried, bonus-eligible position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of management experience required.
• CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire.
• CPO license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Recruits for the Ops department and advises GM on hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintains department budget and submits monthly financial reports to GM.
• Ensures staff keeps locker rooms, fitness floors and common areas clean and welcoming.
• Completes ops payroll and ensures labor costs stay within budget.
• Coaches, manages and schedules up to 40 team members.
• Trains staff through orientation, direction, and feedback.
• Oversees maintenance and repair projects and coordinates with all departments.
