Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Facility Operations Manager to lead the Operations department of the Life Time club. You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, and staff development, and ensure facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 2 years of management experience, CPR/AED and CPO certification, and hands-on building operations experience. It is a full-time, on-site salaried position with bonus eligibility and comprehensive

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Minimum 2 years of management experience in a related setting.
Building operations experience and ability to manage staff budgets.
CPR/AED certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
CPO license must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Recruits for the Ops department and provides input to the General Manager on hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
Maintains the department budget and submits monthly financial reports to the General Manager.
Ensures staff keeps locker rooms, fitness floors and common areas clean and welcoming.
Completes ops payroll and ensures labor costs stay within budget.
Coaches, manages and schedules up to 40 team members.
Trains staff through orientation, direction, and feedback.
Oversees maintenance and repair projects and coordinates with all departments to survey condition.
