Job summary

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
• Experience working as an Assistant Manager at Planet Fitness is a plus.
• Strong leadership, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and develop staff including Assistant Managers and front desk staff.
• Lead by example and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.
• Monitor payroll and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing.
• Address issues with staff and members promptly and respectfully.
• Oversee cleanliness and safety of the facility and equipment.
• Support marketing efforts to meet or exceed revenue goals.
