Job Title: Club Manager
Reports to: District Manager
Status: Full Time/Supervisor/Exempt/Non-Exempt
Job Summary

Responsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience and a financially successful club.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
  2. Oversee member service to ensure all team members provide excellent customer service at all times.
  3. Be highly involved in front desk tasks: greeting members, conducting gym tours, resolving member service issues/questions.
  4. Support team members and club members.
  5. Create and maintain a positive image for the club.
  6. Coach and counsel team members to meet company standards.
  7. Ensure the gym opens and closes promptly.
  8. Train staff on current marketing promotions.
  9. Complete onboarding for new hires in Paycom.
  10. Maintain club hours with proper staffing.
  11. Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  12. Order supplies and manage inventory.
Essential Behavior Requirements
  1. Provide exceptional customer service, exceeding customer needs.
  2. Actively listen and empathize with customers and coworkers to resolve issues.
  3. Recognize and analyze problems; encourage solutions and seek assistance when needed.
  4. Demonstrate tact and appropriate behavior in all interactions.
  5. Maintain timely and effective communication with staff and departments.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Honesty and strong work ethic
  • At least 1 year of managerial experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
Physical Demands
  • Standing and walking for at least 75% of the shift
  • Talking in person or on the phone for at least 75% of the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time
