Job summary

Planet Fitness - Baseline Fitness is seeking a hands-on Gym Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional member experience in our CA club. You will lead front desk activities, guide staff toward company standards, and maintain a positive club image.

Your role involves recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising team members, while ensuring open/close procedures are executed properly and all policies are followed. This position emphasizes leadership and member service.

Qualifications

• Honesty and good work ethic.
• At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gym operations to ensure a positive member experience.
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
• Provide front desk leadership: greet members, tours, address service questions.
• Maintain a positive club image and coach staff to meet standards.
• Ensure opening/closing is timely and operations run smoothly.
