Job Title: Club Manager

Reports to: District Manager

Status: Full Time/Supervisor/Exempt/Non-Exempt

Job Summary

Responsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience and a financially successful club.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
2. Oversee member service, ensuring all team members provide excellent customer service at all times.
3. Participate actively in all front desk tasks: greeting members, gym tours, addressing member service issues/questions, etc.
4. Support team members and club members.
5. Create and maintain a positive image for the club.
6. Coach and counsel performance to meet company standards.
7. Ensure prompt opening and closing of the gym.
8. Train staff on current marketing promotions.
9. Complete manager onboarding in Paycom for new hires.
10. Ensure the club is open and staffed during all business hours.
11. Implement and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
12. Order supplies and track inventory.

Minimum Qualifications

• Honesty and good work ethic
• At least 1 year of managerial experience

• Effective communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Basic computer skills

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time
