Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Massachusetts, Greenfield, is hiring for a maintenance/janitorial role. You will perform cleaning, cart management, and basic repair tasks to keep the club safe and welcoming for members and teammates.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.
• May be less than 18 to perform parking lot cart functions (over 18 for equipment and restricted areas).

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service and maintains high safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintains cleanliness of all club areas including sales floor, offices, restrooms and outdoor grounds.
• Gathers and returns carts/flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance; removes trash from parking lot.
• Ensures carts are stocked at the club entrance and in working order.
• Performs maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Maintains outdoor grounds and operates equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
