Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Stoneham, MA is seeking a dedicated Maintenance/Janitorial team member to keep the club clean and safe for members. You’ll gather carts, perform cleaning, and support store operations to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors and restrooms, maintaining outdoor areas, and operating cleaning equipment as needed; you may assist in other departments. Weekly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Maintains the cleanliness of all areas of the club including the sales floor, offices, restrooms and the outdoor grounds and parking lot.
• Gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Operates the floor scrubber, trash compactor and cardboard baler machines in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performs minor and routine building repairs and notifies management when major repairs may be required.
