Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a dedicated maintenance/ Janitorial team member to uphold high cleanliness and safety standards across the club. Responsibilities include keeping the sales floor and restrooms pristine, returning carts from the parking lot, and using equipment like floor scrubbers safely.

The role requires basic training and certification, with preference for prior maintenance, janitorial, or retail/wholesale experience.

Qualifications

• Must complete required training and certification.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred.
• Retail/wholesale experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all club areas including sales floor and restrooms.
• Gather and return carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Operate floor scrubber, trash compactor and related equipment safely.
• Restock maintenance and cleaning supplies and keep supply areas organized.
• Perform minor building repairs and notify management for major repairs.
• Attend to duties across departments and maintain attendance.
