Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a Club Manager to lead daily operations and drive club profitability. You will supervise team members, implement company priorities, and ensure a safe, positive environment for Members and Team Members.

During onboarding (8–12 weeks) you’ll be paired with seasoned leaders to learn best practices, develop talent, and connect leadership concepts to BJ’s scenarios, enabling fast impact across the club.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations manager.
• Strong drive for results and solid work ethic; committed to high member service.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead a large team.
• Solid understanding of profit & loss, shrink control, merchandising, customer service, problem solving and conflict resolution.
• Open shift availability and at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team by providing vision, direction and clear accountability.
• Create a club culture where staff are challenged, recognized, and developed.
• Manage talent, coach for performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate effectively to ensure staff understand the why and keep messaging simple.
• Drive profitability by controlling costs and implementing operational improvements.
• Meet sales objectives through warehouse supervision and coordination with Home Office.
• Track key KPIs in productivity, audits, shrink, and turnover.
