Job summary

Invited is seeking a Cook 1 to join its hospitality team on site. You will set up stations, assist with basic food preparation, and help maintain clean, organized work areas under guidance from senior cooks. This entry-level role emphasizes learning, reliability, and delivering consistent quality.

You will work closely with Cook 2 and Cook 3, handle daily prep, follow safety standards, and contribute to a positive guest experience through professional service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Must have a High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
• Valid Food Handler Certifications as required by state and city regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, execute daily prep tasks, and organize your workstation efficiently.
• Prepare and store all food items required for your station, adhering to Invited’s standards.
• Maintain proper cooking techniques and presentation of menu items as designated by Chef(s).
• Receive and store goods purchased by kitchen as requested.
• Manage items used by others, such as condiments, dressings, salsa, and soups.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of your work area and the kitchen.
