Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC seeks a Janitor/Maintenance Attendant to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members and staff in Lincoln, NE. You will work closely with club leadership to uphold high standards of cleanliness and assist with facility maintenance needs, contributing to a positive member experience through reliability and attention to detail.

The role requires ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand and move throughout-shifts, and follow established sanitation protocols

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, maintenance, or facility operations preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Reliable, dependable, and capable of maintaining a consistent work schedule.
• Any certifications required by applicable state or local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, appearance, and organization of interior club areas.
• Keep exterior entrances and surrounding grounds clean and presentable.
• Complete cleaning and sanitation tasks per schedules.
• Follow cleaning protocols to promote a healthy environment.
• Assist members and guests courteously; escalate issues as needed.
• Monitor safety hazards and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in a safe, organized manner.
• Support club operations and special projects as assigned.
• Demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude with members and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and guidelines.
