Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a dedicated maintenance/janitorial team member to keep our club clean, safe, and welcoming for members and associates.

You will gather and return carts, perform routine cleaning, operate floor equipment safely, and help maintain exterior grounds. We offer weekly pay, free memberships, generous time off, health benefits, a 401(k) match, and opportunities to grow with us.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.
• May be less than 18 years of age to perform parking lot cart functions. Must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age restricted areas.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Maintains cleanliness of all areas of the club including the sales floor, offices, restrooms and outdoor grounds and parking lot.
• Gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Operates the floor scrubber, trash compactor and cardboard baler machines following safety standards.
