Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County (BGCKC) is seeking a Club Relationship Officer to build and deepen relationships with Club families, alumni families, community volunteers, and Club Advisory Boards, converting them into donors and ambassadors who strengthen community philanthropy across King County.

The role leads growth, activation, and stewardship of CABs, clubs, and countywide events, embedding a culture of family engagement and fundraising across BGCKC.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, community engagement, or relationship management.
• Demonstrated success in donor cultivation and grassroots fundraising.
• Experience working with volunteers, advisory boards, or community groups.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills across diverse communities.
• Ability to inspire and mobilize volunteers and non-traditional donors.
• Excellent communication skills, including storytelling and facilitation.
• Experience with CRM systems and tracking engagement metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead donor cultivation strategies including storytelling, impact reporting, and personalized engagement.
• Develop tailored giving opportunities aligned with Club priorities (e.g., teen programming, scholarships, enrichment activities).
• Manage a portfolio of parent and community‑based donors and prospects.
• Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and evolution of Club Advisory Boards across 11 clubhouses and 22 school‑based club clusters.
• Coordinate countywide events and CAB activation to drive fundraising and community engagement.
