Job summary

The State of Wyoming seeks a skilled fiscal operations professional to manage day-to-day CLSD grant activities, including budgeting, tracking expenditures, and ensuring grant compliance. This role coordinates statewide events and oversees audits, contracts, and travel for program teams across literacy initiatives.

Preference is given to candidates with a Bachelor's in education or literacy, and experience with education grants or Wyoming policy knowledge is valued.

Qualifications

• Preference for a Bachelor's degree in education, literacy, or related field.
• Proficiency in budgeting, expenditures tracking, and grant compliance.
• Experience with education grants and state education systems.
• Knowledge of Wyoming education policies and statutes.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day fiscal operations of the CLSD grant.
• Develop, track, and reconcile budgets for the CLSD grant.
• Monitor expenditures and district sub-grant allocations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and grant requirements.
• Prepare and submit required financial reports.
• Maintain documentation for audits and fiscal accountability.
• Coordinate statewide and regional events, budgets, and logistics.
• Support the Literacy and Early Childhood Division with travel needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
