Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Cloud Engineer - Windows to design, implement, and support cloud-hosted Windows server environments underpinning mission-critical applications in secure federal cloud or hybrid infrastructures.

You will build and maintain VMs, images, and automation to provision Windows workloads, configure identity, networking, storage, and monitoring, and collaborate with DevOps and security teams to meet compliance and performance objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4–7+ years Windows system administration with Azure/AWS or similar.
• Proficient in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python) and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, logging, and monitoring.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Architect and administer Windows server instances in public or private clouds, including image management and patching.
• Design cloud networking constructs (VNets, subnets, NSGs, load balancers).
• Automate Windows deployment and configuration with scripting and IaC for repeatable builds.
• Integrate Windows with directory services and identity providers with proper access controls.
• Monitor and tune Windows systems to ensure performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate Windows services into CI/CD pipelines.
