Job summary

SCC is seeking a Tech Support - Cloud VDI to join the UK Infrastructure Team, supporting Virtualised Desktop environments. You will resolve incidents and tasks raised via ServiceNow, plan changes, and liaise with projects and other teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

The role requires experience with Citrix Onprem/Cloud, AVD, Nerdio, Windows Server and Active Directory, plus strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in IT systems administration or engineering roles within large MSPs.
• Proven expertise across virtualized desktop environments including Citrix (Onprem/Cloud), AVD and Nerdio.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012–2019 and related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and GPOs; ability to manage user profiles with FsLogix.

Responsibilities

• Manage technologies such as Citrix Onprem & Cloud, AVD and Nerdio.
• Understand virtualization environments including VMware, Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure.
• Maintain and support Active Directory with GPOs and FsLogix profile management.
• Provide clear technical support for Citrix environments including Netscaler, XenApp/XenDesktop and Delivery Controllers.
• Document system configurations and changes; follow ITIL processes.
