Job summary

Etegent Technologies is seeking a Cloud Engineer to maintain DoD/IC cloud environments, focusing on VDI implementation, management, security, and documentation. The role is primarily on-site at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, with some time in the Dayton office.

Ideal candidates will hold a Top Secret clearance, have AWS/Azure experience, VDI platform familiarity, scripting skills, and a strong emphasis on security compliance and operational support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Software Engineering or related field.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication ability.
• CompTIA+ Certification.
• Cloud compute infra experience (AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
• Develop, test, and push OS configurations to thin clients.
• Manage security patches, SSL/TLS certificates, and secure access.
• Collaborate with users to pilot changes and collect performance metrics.
• Work with ISSOs to maintain security compliance and monitoring.
• Write clear documentation for system architecture and guides.
