Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services seeks a Senior Delivery Consultant to join the Cloud Platform and Migrations team in Chicago. You will design, implement, and manage complex cloud solutions, guiding migrations and modernization for customers and providing architectural best practices throughout delivery.

You will lead engagements, mentor teams, and act as a trusted advisor on industry trends, with travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud-based solution, system, network and operating system experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field or equivalent.
• 3+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies experience.
• 5+ years of working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies, including, but not limited to, Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
