Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle, WA seeks an ADC Engineer to own and advance mission-critical services in our dedicated clouds.

You will deploy and operate AWS Systems Manager services for air-gapped regions and support government customers, working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance (with poly or commensurate) and offers opportunities to scale systems, diagnose platform issues, and contribute to the cloud's continued growth with a strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification required.
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 1+ years designing or architecting systems for reliability and scaling.
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, OS).
• Experience programming in at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
• Current, active US Government TS/SCI clearance with poly or commensurate eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production software issues.
• Developing monitoring solutions and automation.
• Performing software maintenance and configuration.
• Implementing fixes for internally developed code (Perl, Ruby, C/C++, Java, Python).
• Updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges.
• Collaborating with AWS teams on projects and enhancing current software.
