Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Bellevue, WA seeks an engineer to design, develop, and operate large-scale cloud infrastructure for government workloads. You will contribute to EC2 expansions for US Intelligence Community, focusing on automation, DevOps, and reliability.

You will join a team of talented engineers addressing hard problems across AWS GovCloud and isolated regions, working under strict security constraints and delivering robust, secure services for government customers.

Qualifications

• - Associate's degree or above, or CND (Certified Network Defender) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials)
• - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• - 1+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
• - Experience with automating and simplifying team development, test, and operations processes
• - Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Identify ways to improve tools, processes, and documentation to help customers
• Work with teams across isolated AWS regions and AWS GovCloud
• Learn site reliability engineering fundamentals and contribute code/automation to reduce toil
• Tune alarms and understand system performance to prevent issues
