Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks engineers to design, develop, and operate cloud solutions for US government customers, including the EC2 GovCloud. You will join a team tackling large distributed systems and complex security requirements.

We require TS/SCI with polygraph, experience in Linux environments, and automation/DevOps practices. You’ll contribute across software, systems, and security disciplines to improve tooling and operations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher, or related certifications (CND/GSEC).
• Experience programming in modern languages (C++, C#, Java, Python, Go, PowerShell, Ruby).
• 1+ years in Linux/Unix environments and automation.
• Experience automating and simplifying team development, test, and operations processes.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify ways to improve tools, processes, and documentation for customers.
• Learn site reliability engineering fundamentals and reduce toil through automation.
• Contribute code and automation to improve operations across AWS regions and GovCloud.
• Collaborate with systems developers and engineers to strengthen security and reliability.
