Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks engineers to design, develop, and operate large-scale EC2 services for government customers. You will work with a team of systems developers and engineers to expand capabilities across AWS GovCloud regions and isolated AWS regions.

You will apply Agile/DevOps principles, decompose complex problems, and drive automation to improve tooling, processes, and documentation for US government cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Experience in Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience programming in modern languages (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
• Experience automating and simplifying team development, test, and operations processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify ways to improve tools, processes and documentation for customers across AWS regions.
• Learn site reliability engineering fundamentals and contribute code/automation to remove toil.
• Collaborate with engineers across isolated AWS regions and GovCloud to improve operations.
