Amazon is seeking talented engineers to join the EC2 GovCloud team, improving tools, processes, and documentation across AWS regions and GovCloud. You’ll work with systems developers and engineers to automate operations and enhance reliability, while learning site reliability engineering fundamentals and tuning alarms for real-world performance.

The role requires deep software and systems expertise, with a focus on Linux/Unix environments, automation, and modern programming languages.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree or above, or security certifications.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
• 1+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience.
• Experience with automating and simplifying team development, test, and operations processes.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Aufgaben

• Identify ways to improve tools, processes, and documentation, working with systems developers and engineers across AWS regions and GovCloud.
• Learn site reliability engineering fundamentals and tune alarms based on system behavior.
• Collaborate with engineers to automate operational issues and improve customer experience.
