Quanex seeks a Cloud Systems Engineer to support the deployment and maintenance of cloud and on-premises IT infrastructures across multiple U.S. locations, including Owatonna, MN. The role focuses on engineering, troubleshooting, and project ownership within modern Microsoft cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate will bring Windows Server/AD, PowerShell, and Azure experience, plus strong collaboration with internal teams and external partners to drive major IT projects forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computing fields.
• 5-7 years in Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Experience administering public cloud environments, Azure preferred.
• PowerShell and scripting experience required.
• Enterprise identity management using Azure beneficial.
• Strong backup and disaster recovery knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain cloud and on-premises environments.
• Provide advanced technical support and manage incidents in ServiceNow.
• Monitor performance and perform root cause analysis when issues arise.
• Design and implement system improvements across IT infra projects.
• Create clear technical documentation and knowledge materials.
• Travel up to 10% and support after-hours as needed.
