Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer I to design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-connected applications using Microsoft technologies. You will work with senior engineers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure software supporting Honeywell's digital transformation initiatives.

This early-career role focuses on cloud APIs, modern UI frameworks, and enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of software development experience.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
• Understanding of REST APIs, web services, and API integration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Understanding of OO design principles and software development best practices.
• Knowledge of Git and source control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and cloud-based services.
• Configure and support API Management platforms and API lifecycle processes.
• Design and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Build responsive UIs using Angular, React, Blazor, or similar frameworks.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and planning sessions.
• Troubleshoot defects and performance issues; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Follow Honeywell software development, cybersecurity, and quality standards.
• Support CI/CD implementations and automated deployment pipelines.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
