Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Duluth, GA, is seeking a Software Engineer II to lead backend development on hybrid work schedule. You’ll design and maintain C#/.NET Core APIs, build cloud-native Azure services, and implement microservices in distributed systems.

You’ll also optimize performance, participate in agile ceremonies, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while ensuring code quality and scalability across services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software design and development.
• C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Web API proficiency.
• Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault).
• RESTful APIs and microservices experience.
• OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• SQL Server / Cosmos DB / NoSQL databases.
• CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs in C#/.NET.
• Build and deploy cloud-native apps on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop microservices and integrate with distributed systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support system improvements.
