Job summary

Honeywell is hiring a Software Engineer I to design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-connected applications and services using Microsoft technologies. This role targets an early-career engineer passionate about cloud technologies, API development, modern UI frameworks, and enterprise software solutions.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of software development experience.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational database concepts.
• Understanding of REST APIs, web services, and API integration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles and software development best practices.
• Knowledge of source control systems such as Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and cloud-based services.
• Configure and support API Management platforms and API lifecycle processes.
• Design and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Build responsive UIs using Angular, React, Blazor, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, DevOps and other teams.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Support CI/CD implementation and automated deployment pipelines.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and software development best practices.

You will work closely with senior engineers, product owners, and cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑quality software solutions supporting Honeywell's digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and cloud‑based services
• Configure and support API Management platforms and API lifecycle processes
• Design and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server
• Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Blazor, or similar technologies
• Participate in software design discussions, code reviews, and technical planning sessions
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Collaborate with product management, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Follow Honeywell software development, cybersecurity, and quality standards
• Support CI/CD implementation and automated deployment pipelines
• Stay current with emerging technologies and software development best practices
