Job summary

Honeywell is hiring a Software Engineer I to design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-connected applications and services using Microsoft technologies. You will work with senior engineers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure software supporting Honeywell's digital transformation.

This role targets an early-career engineer passionate about cloud technologies, API development, modern UI frameworks, and enterprise software solutions.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of software development experience.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational database concepts.
• Understanding of REST APIs, web services, and API integration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles and software development best practices.
• Knowledge of source control systems such as Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and cloud-based services.
• Configure and support API Management platforms and API lifecycle processes.
• Design and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Build responsive UIs using Angular, React, Blazor, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, DevOps and other teams.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Support CI/CD implementation and automated deployment pipelines.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and software development best practices.
