Job summary

INNOVIM is seeking a Cloud Software Developer to support NASA’s EOSDIS Evolution and Development 3 contract. The role focuses on building scalable data tools and services in a cloud environment to enable researchers to access, transform, and validate Earth science data.

Based out of Annapolis, MD with remote/telework options, you will work in an Agile team delivering reliable cloud solutions and ensuring compliance with NASA standards while collaborating with scientists and program stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Cloud hosting experience in IAAS/PAAS environments.
• Strong AWS knowledge including Lambda and Step Functions.
• Experience in NodeJS, TypeScript, C++, Python, or Java within Agile environments.
• DevOps automation using Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Familiar with AWS DevOps services like Terraform and IAM.
• Desire to automate processes and build infrastructure-as-code solutions.
• Ability to analyze cloud infra and implement improvements.
• Strong communication with customers, management, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Build tools to discover, transform, update, and improve Earth science data.
• Work in an Agile environment maintaining operations for NASA Earthdata Cloud.
