Job summary

INNOVIM, based in Annapolis, MD, seeks a Cloud Software Developer to support NASA EOSDIS Evolution and Development 3 (EED-3) on a fast-paced Agile team. The role focuses on building tools to discover, transform, and improve Earth Science data and to maintain Earthdata Cloud operations.

The candidate will work in a remote-friendly environment with occasional travel to Annapolis for PI Planning; required are 3+ years in the cloud, strong AWS skills, and programming in Node.js, Typescript, Python,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience using Cloud Services in IAAS/PAAS environments.
• AWS expertise including Lambda and Step Functions.
• 3+ years of programming in Node.js, Typescript, C++, Python or Java in Agile teams.
• Experience with DevOps automation tools: Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Familiar with AWS DevOps services, IAM and deployment tooling.
• Ability to automate processes and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions.
• Strong communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced Agile environment on NASA Earthdata Cloud.
• Ensure compliance with operational agreements and NASA standards.
