Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners, Inc is seeking Cloud Software Engineers to support the research, design, development, integration, testing, and sustainment of innovative cloud-based applications and distributed computing solutions.

The ideal candidate will develop high-performance software leveraging modern cloud technologies, automation tools, and data platforms while supporting mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• Four additional years of cloud domain experience may substitute for a degree.
• Industry certifications in Cloudera, CompTIA Cloud+, AWS, or Azure may count toward experience.
• For Level 1: Four (4) years of relevant cloud domain experience.
• For Level 2: Eight (8) years of relevant cloud domain experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to derive software design and performance needs.
• Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance cloud-based apps and services.
• Debug and resolve defects to improve functionality and performance.
• Integrate software into new systems and environments.
• Design and implement database interfaces and data repositories.
• Develop algorithms for performance and scalability.
• Write and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with users and engineers to solve challenges.
• Develop, test, and maintain high-performance cloud-native apps.
• Utilize cloud technologies including containers, orchestration, serverless, data pipelines, automation, monitoring.
• Apply secure development practices.
• Participate in testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
