Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead to drive modernization and productization of a mission-focused software suite for a broader DoD customer base. You will lead design, implementation, and deployment of secure, enterprise-grade solutions while mentoring engineering teams and ensuring delivery of technical objectives.

The role emphasizes scalable architectures, cryptographic capabilities, and cloud/hybrid deployment across environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent)
12+ years of professional software development experience
Strong experience leading software engineering efforts in enterprise environments
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of secure software solutions for enterprise authorization, encryption, and key management services.
Drive modernization and productization of applications by abstracting environment-specific configurations and creating scalable architectures.
Design, develop, and maintain software components, APIs, and services across distributed environments.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams and promote best practices and quality standards.
Lead encryption libraries, key management capabilities, and secure integration solutions.
