Columbia Technology Partners, Inc. seeks a Senior Java Software Engineer to support modernization and productization of a mission-focused software suite for deployment across a broader customer community.

This role will transform existing solutions into scalable, customer-agnostic platforms by removing environment dependencies, enhancing authorization workflows, and supporting advanced key management capabilities. You will work in an Agile environment with cloud, hybrid, and on-prem deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 8+ years of software development.
• Strong experience developing enterprise apps using Java and JavaScript with Agile practices.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software using modern Java technologies.
• Productize existing apps into scalable, configurable solutions across environments.
• Develop secure services, APIs, and components for authorization and key management.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to meet mission needs.
• Apply best practices across requirements, design reviews, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reporting.
• Troubleshoot complex application and performance issues.
• Contribute to system design docs, standards, testing strategies, and plans.
• Support cloud, hybrid, and on-prem deployments with reliability and maintainability.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies for project delivery.
