Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Professional software development with Java, Go, TypeScript, JavaScript or Python.
- Strong OO and functional design; web development basics.
- Low-latency SOA designs and cloud-native development.
- Collaborative, agile, test-driven development experience.
- Experience building data pipelines with Databricks, dbt and Airflow.
Responsibilities
- Design and build projects from inception to completion and operate them.
- Maintain craftsmanship and ensure integrity in form and function.
- Collaborate to support team strategy, architecture choices.
- Adopt cloud-first approach for distributed, scalable services.
- Set quality standards, tests and documentation.
- Identify root causes and implement long-term fixes.
- Work with urgency to deliver simple, pragmatic solutions.
