Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development in Java, C++, or Python within last 10 years.
• 5+ years designing applications in Windows or UNIX/Linux environments in last 7 years.
• 3+ years with OpenSource (NoSQL) products like Accumulo, HBase, or BigTable in last 3 years.
• 1+ year with Map/Reduce in last 3 years; 1+ year with Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).
• 3+ years of requirements analysis and OO design within last 3 years.
• 2+ years development with Kubernetes and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) in last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test new features for cloud software and services.
• Develop web-based UIs and RESTful APIs for content and metadata repositories.
• Create algorithms for large-scale analytics on petabyte-scale data in secure environments.
• Translate business needs into technical specs for cloud-based solutions; drive code quality with peer reviews.
• Configure and integrate cloud solutions across environments; produce comprehensive documentation.
