Job summary

CACI in Chantilly, VA seeks a Data Engineer/Full Performance Software Developer to join our team, supporting the design, development, and modernization of enterprise applications that power mission systems.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and mission stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable software solutions, using Java/Python, RESTful APIs, and modern front-end practices in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
10+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience with Java and/or Python, RESTful APIs, and enterprise frameworks.
Agile development experience and strong OO design.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance enterprise software supporting mission-critical operations.
Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and/or Python.
Create responsive front-ends with JavaScript and Angular.
Develop data processing with Apache Spark and Airflow where applicable.
Maintain search/analytics with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch and collaborate with stakeholders.
