Job summary

CACI is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in a role focused on cloud software research, development, and engineering services. You will contribute to requirements analysis, development, installation, integration, testing, and ongoing maintenance of cloud solutions.

The position emphasizes collaboration, robust coding practices, and delivering scalable services across distributed environments, requiring experience with Java/C++/Python and NoSQL ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Within the last ten years, a minimum of seven (7) years experience combined programming with Java, C++, or Python.
• Within the last seven years, a minimum of five (5) years experience designing and developing applications in a Windows or UNIX/Linux operating environment.
• Within the last three (3) years, a minimum of three (3) years experience with OpenSource (NoSQL) products such as HBase, Apache Accumulo, or BigTable.
• Within the last three (3) years, a minimum of one (1) year experience with Map/Reduce; within the last three (3) years, a minimum of one (1) year experience with the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).
• Within the last three (3) years, a minimum of one (1) year experience with requirements analysis and design for one or more object-oriented systems.
• Within the past two (2) years, six (6) months development experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test new features for cloud software to support large content and metadata repositories.
• Develop web-based UIs to support search and presentation of data and REST-based APIs.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for cloud-based solutions.
• Install, configure, and integrate cloud software across environments.
• Develop and execute test plans including unit, integration, and system tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex problems and provide documentation.
