Job summary

Upwind Security is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to troubleshoot complex cloud security issues, document solutions, and maintain strong customer relationships. You will handle escalations to R&D, contribute to knowledge bases, and continuously improve support processes.

The position requires 1–3 years in related roles, English fluency, and hands-on experience with MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and cloud technologies. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Cyber Security is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Technical Support, Technical Account Manager, or Escalation Engineer (not internal IT support)
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Cyber Security, or equivalent
• Experience with Cloud technologies, Containerization (Docker), networking, Linux and Kubernetes
• Experience with OpenSearch, Grafana, and analysis tools for troubleshooting
• Experience in cybersecurity, with emphasis on cloud environments
• Ability to adapt and learn, work effectively solo and in a team

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely support via Slack, chat, or email to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues to R&D or Product when needed
• Build strong relationships, educate customers on product features, and maintain a professional, supportive tone
• Create and update support documentation while logging all interactions in the support system
• Enhance skills through ongoing training to maintain technical excellence and deliver top-tier support
